His Beatitude Mar Raphael Thattil serves as the Father and Head of nearly five million Syro-Malabar faithful around the globe. Elected on January 8, 2024, and enthroned on January 11, 2024, he leads our Church with wisdom, compassion, and dedication to the Gospel.

Bishop of the Eparchy of Mississauga
His Excellency Mar Jose Kalluvelil serves as the Bishop of the Eparchy of Mississauga, shepherding the Syro-Malabar Catholic faithful in Canada. Ordained as bishop on September 19, 2015, he brings extensive pastoral experience and theological expertise, having obtained his Doctorate in catechesis from the Salesian University, Rome.
Under his pastoral leadership, the Syro-Malabar community in Canada continues to grow in faith, worship, and service to God and neighbor.
